Patek Philippe Nautilus

Patek Philippe Nautilus

£120,000.00

“The 5711 is destined to go down as one of the most important watches of the 21st century. This watch is the very essence of the Nautilus.” Nick Baranga, Founder

Gérald Genta’s legendary Nautilus was inspired by a ship’s porthole and first set sail in 1976, but it was on its 30th anniversary that arguably the most famous, coveted and collected timepiece in the world was born: the 5711. Representing the Nautilus in its purest form, the watch is faithful to its origins but with modern touches that carry the iconic line into the modern era and beyond. The 5711/1R is the very first to feature both a case and bracelet in sumptuous 18k rose gold, but its huge desirability is rooted as much in its dial as in the watch’s sleek shape and feel. The textured dial displays horizontal grooves and a colour gradation from chocolate to light brown, making for a breathtaking watch face that plays with light and shadow. In true Nautilus fashion, the watch has a brushed 40mm case paired with an integrated bracelet, with mirror-polished central links and fold-over clasp, and is powered by Patek’s in-house cal.324SC movement, visible through the sapphire caseback. A sophisticated edition of an unquestionable icon.
