Inspired by a rare early-1960s Audemars Piguet reference, the 5159BA, of which only 7 pieces were ever made, the (RE)Master 15240SG is a meticulous revival of mid-century elegance, reinterpreted for today with a nod to Brutalist design - where clean geometry, honest materials, and functional clarity take precedence over excess. Its 41mm case is fully crafted in the brand’s proprietary 18k ‘sand gold,’ a distinctive alloy that shifts between white and pink hues depending on the light, giving the watch a restrained yet  expressive presence. Brushed and sharply faceted to reflect its Brutalist aesthetic, the case is asymmetrical and its crystal is cut to follow the shape, creating distortion when viewed from an angle. The dial is in the iconic ‘Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50’ of the Jumbo Royal Oak, achieved through Physical Vapor Deposition, with the dial segmented into twelve triangles, each decorated with a linear satin finish and separated by lines of sand gold that serve as hour markers. Powering the watch is the selfwinding Calibre 7129, only 2.8mm thick but offering a 52-hour power reserve. Limited to just 250 pieces, this is tribute to the past, engineered for the present.

In brand-new, unworn condition, the watch comes complete with its box, booklets and guarantee card, and remains under Audemars Piguet’s international warranty until 2027.
