Limited to just 1,014 pieces, the watch revives the character of the original commemorative Speedmaster while introducing Omega’s most advanced contemporary craftsmanship. Its 42mm case and bracelet are forged entirely from 18K Moonshine gold, Omega’s proprietary alloy prized for its softer tone and enduring brilliance. The vertically brushed step dial, also in Moonshine gold, is accented by facetted black onyx hour markers, with splashes of burgundy across the ceramic bezel, movement and caseback to echo the colours of the 1969 original. Powering the watch is Omega’s manual-winding Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, visible through the sapphire display caseback, and a blackened Moonshine gold caseback ring frames a partial map of the Americas alongside a domed lunar meteorite inlay, depicting the Earth and Moon in their true proportions.
