There’s nothing quite like the Royal Oak Offshore Diver when it comes to wrist presence, and the watch showcases a unique look that is instantly recognisable as an AP Diver.  The model, first introduced in 2005 as the “Royal Oak Offshore Scuba” has seen a number of variations over the years, many of which showcased innovative and bold materials - from carbon to ceramic (as seen here), as well as lively dial colours throughout. The modern iteration showcased here measures at 42mm and at 13.9mm thick, and there is no denying that this watch wears large, or at least larger than your more universal 40mm watch. However, the curvature on the underside of the case as well as the somewhat subdued black-coloured case makes for a very cool look on the wrist. The black ceramic case is hugely impressive, and something with Audemars Piguet are known to be industry-leaders in for some years now. The orange details throughout the seconds hand tip and luminous, the minute hand surround, and the first 15-minutes on the rotating inner bezel diving scale makes for a truly modern, sporty look which contrasts beautifully with the dark black “Méga Tapisserie” dial. Fair to assume from the model’s name, there is no denying that this Royal Oak Offshore is a real “Diver”, which 300m’s worth of water resistance as well as being pressure resistant.

Condition Report:

Thanks to the bullet-proof nature of Ceramic, the case and overall condition of this watch is very, very good. Aside from the crown tips, joining links, the case back and the buckle (which are all Titanium), the entirety of the case and bezel of this Royal Oak Offshore Diver is crafted in ceramic, which is virtually scratch-resistant and is hugely pleasing to the eye. Fitted here on a khaki green vulcanised rubber strap (which we think looks very cool), the watch is further complete with its original box, guarantee booklet, its instruction booklet and even its original purchase receipt.
