One of Rolex’s great classics, the GMT-Master is arguably the world’s most famous travel watch. This latest model, the 126729, is forged from gleaming 18k white gold and features a black-and-green bezel, earning this watch the nickname “The Sprite”, but it is the technical updates that make it such a significant piece. Its highly-legible, bright-green Cerachrom dial is the very first ceramic dial ever offered on a Rolex, whilst Rolex’s patented Cerachrom bezel insert is highly resistant to scratches and fading. An innovative touch places the crown and crown guard on the left side of the case, with the date aperture and Cyclops lens at 9 o’clock, rather than at 3.
